Which one sounds like you?
A Marketplace (ACA) plan may fit if you…
- Have a health condition, take regular prescriptions or expect ongoing care
- Want protection for hospital stays and serious illness
- May qualify for a tax credit that lowers your monthly cost
- Want coverage that can't turn you down for pre-existing conditions
The Protector Plan may fit if you…
- Mostly need everyday care: telemedicine, office visits and urgent care
- Want one flat monthly cost with set benefits
- Understand it's a limited-benefit plan, not major medical insurance
- Have compared it with your Marketplace options and tax credit first
These are very different kinds of coverage. We check your Marketplace tax credit first, then compare both with you.
Four simple steps, at no cost
- Tell us about your household
Household size, a rough income range and your situation. A short form or a quick call.
- We check your tax credit
We estimate the help you may qualify for and explain what counts as income.
- We compare plans for you
Your doctors, prescriptions and what you'd pay when you actually use care, not just the monthly price.
- Help all year
Income change, new baby or a billing question? You reach us directly, not a call center.
Open Enrollment for 2027: November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Outside those dates, a life change like losing coverage, moving, marrying or having a baby can open a Special Enrollment Period, usually 60 days. States that run their own Marketplace, like Maine, may set different dates.
Why people call us
“Trying to find health insurance on the ACA Marketplace on my own was an absolute headache… Reaching out to Jade was the best decision we made. She broke down the entire Marketplace process in plain English… and helped us compare actual carrier networks rather than just looking at sticker prices. She matched our family with a plan that kept our existing doctors in-network.”

- We work for you, not one insurance company
- You reach Brandon, Jade or our Mayfield & Associates support team, never a call center
- Same plan prices as enrolling on your own

Questions people ask first
Will I qualify for a tax credit?
It depends on your household size, expected income, where you live and the plan you pick. Not everyone qualifies. We'll estimate yours with you. We're insurance agents, not tax advisors, so for tax questions please talk with a tax professional.
Can I enroll outside Open Enrollment?
Only if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period, usually after a life change like losing other coverage, moving, marrying or having a baby. You generally have 60 days. Tell us what happened and when, and we'll check.
What does it cost to work with you?
Nothing. There's no cost for our help, and plan prices are the same as enrolling on your own. We're paid by the insurance company you choose.
